| The first part of the night focused on roof ventilation, led by Captains Wilbert and Wilkinson. Members reviewed techniques, safety considerations, and the importance of proper ventilation during fireground operations to improve conditions for both occupants and firefighters. We were also working alongside one of our recruit who is currently covering ventilation operations in fire school, giving her valuable hands-on experience to reinforce what she is learning.
The second half of the drill was dedicated to a CPR refresher. Our members worked hands-on with training manikins to review life-saving skills that can make all the difference in an emergency. CPR training is something we take seriously, as it directly impacts our ability to help save lives when seconds count.
Our volunteers continue to put in the time and effort to train, learn, and improveโand that commitment is what keeps our department ready to respond when our community needs us most.
๐ Thank you to all of our members for your dedication!
