The alarm was accidentally set off by workers cleaning an oven.
Chief 18-30 responded and confirmed no hazards were present. The alarm was reset and units cleared the scene at 12:23 AM.

Upon arrival, Chief 18-30 established Incident Command and advised that an old outbuilding at the rear of the property was fully involved. He directed incoming units and assigned apparatus and personnel to their positions for an organized and effective operation.

No Caption 🚨 Call #26-0159 🚨 Laureldale Fire Rescue | Mays Landing Fire Department Units were dispatched to the Sandpiper Condominiums for a report of a fire alarm sounding along with the odor of smoke

First arriving crews confirmed smoke showing from the second floor, with no answer at the door. With assistance from Township of Hamilton Police Department, crews made entry into the residence.

Upon investigation, firefighters located a pot burning on the stove. The stove was shut off and the pot was safely removed. Crews then conducted ventilation operations to clear the smoke from the residence.

Fire / Rescue was dispatched to the Atlantic City Expressway at mile marker 18.7 eastbound for a reported overturned vehicle with entrapment.

EMS arrived on scene and was able to safely remove the single occupant from the vehicle.
