🚨 Call #26-0169 🚨
At 4:43 AM, units were dispatched to a residence on Millville Avenue for a reported structure fire. Mays Landing Assistant Chief 18-11 arrived on location at 4:59 AM and confirmed fire on the exterior caused by arcing wires.

Tanker 18-19 arrived and stretched a 1.75” handline to the rear of the structure, operating safely while avoiding the energized wires. Tanker 18-38 arrived shortly after, supplying water to 18-19 and sending manpower forward to assist.

Additional units from Township Of Hamilton Rescue Squad, Township of Hamilton Police Department, Richland Volunteer Fire Company 12-1, Dorothy Volunteer Fire Company, and Milmay Volunteer Fire Company responded to assist. The fire was quickly brought under control, and units remained on scene until the electric company arrived and secured power to the home. All units cleared shortly after.
