| Laureldale firefighters along with Cologne and Mays Landing firefighters were dispatched for a Landing Zone assignment. Firefighters arrived and secured a safe area for a helicopter to land. Once patient care was transferred and helicopter was safely away all units cleared the scene. Shortly after returning to station Laureldale along with Cologne and Mays Landing firefighters were dispatched to the area of Lomax Carpet for a reported woods fire. Mays Landing Chief 18-10 arrived and found the fire to be already extinguished. Utility 34 and Tanker 39 both arrived behind Forest Fire and assisted with ensuring the fire was out. Once the area was considered safe all units were released from the scene. |
