As Engine 33 arrived a small fire was located on the rear of a 2nd floor balcony. The crew from Engine 33 had to force the door open to gain access due to no one being home. While 33 was forcing the door, Cologne Engine 54 deployed a ladder to the balcony. Mays Landing Tanker 19 crew arrived and deployed a hand line into the building. Fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters with a water can. Crews checked for fire extension and ventilated the residence. Once all hazards were mitigated all units were released from scene.
